We are planning a visit to Lord Carrington's beautiful garden in Bledlow, possibly in May.
Exiting rumours may have reached you through the village grapevine that we are plotting (with Mark Davis's guidance of course) to submit a design
for a Chelsea garden.Whatever the result it will be entertaining. Anyone wanting further information can call Fiona on 215140 or Cherry on 261089.
We hope to visit a local garden for our May meeting on the 30th. May. Details next month.
On 20th. June we are organising a visit to Drydwell Organic Gardens at Woolcote. This will be early evening and I need to have reservations
by the end of May.
On 5th. July Mary Spiller of TV fame and a Waterperry Garden Tutor is giving a talk on designing a border. This will be held at the Manor Barn
again in the evening. Light refreshments will be served and we will ask for a small donation. Mary will be paid out of the grant we received from the
Towersey Festival.
Spring is now well and truly underway. We have a good selection of:
Perennials
Shrubs
Roses
Bedding
Fruit Canes and Bushes
Hedging and Trees
Despite anxieties about drought and higher temperatures we should be mindful of our damp conditions here in Towersey during wet weather.
Please feel free to ask for help with any problems or questions you may have regarding plants or gardening in general. Do call in and have a look around. We will
be open all over the Easter Holiday.
