St Catherine’s Church
The attractive building of St Catherine’s Church sits at the very heart of the village. Services are held on Sundays at 9.30am. Everyone is welcome! Our regular monthly pattern is:
- First Sunday is a simple form of morning worship to start the month.
- Morning Worship on the second Sunday of each month is an accessible service of morning prayer.
- Parish Communion is a service of Holy Communion from Common Worship. It is held the fourth Sunday of each month.
Once a month St Cath’s Café replaces the morning service with an opportunity to drop in for family tea, chat, craft from 3.30 and a short ‘Bible Box’ slot at 4.15.
For children aged 3-11 our Sunday School, Adventures with God, runs at 4pm twice a month in the church.
For more information check out the St Catherine’s Church website.
St. Catherine’s Towersey is a member of the Oxfordshire Diocesan Guild of Bellringers, South Oxon Branch. We are one of only a handful of 4 bell towers in the UK. For further information about the bells do visit the Towersey Bell Ringers website.
We currently practise every Wednesday and meet in the tower at 7.30pm. This is open to anyone would like to come along and see what church bell ringing is about and there is often the chance to have a go yourself if you would like.
