Our annual Harvest Thanksgiving is on Sunday – do come and join us, if you can. We look forward to to seeing the church beautifully decorated, as usual, by the creative efforts of from representatives of many of our village organisations. The informal service will be led by Rev Tony Price. We hope to see you there.

Harvest Offering

Harvest gifts this year will be given to Thame Foodbankwhich serves Thame and surrounding villages as far as Chinnor, Watlington, Chalgrove, Wheatley, Long Crendon and Haddenham. Most clients are referred by one of their partner agencies.

We are asking for non-perishable items. The specific urgent needs are:

  • 1 litre cartons of UHT fruit juice and milk
  • washing machine powder/tablets
  • bottles of squash
  • tinned rice pudding
  • tinned custard and puddings
  • toilet rolls

The church will be open to receive donations on Saturday 18th from 9am to 4pm, if you would like to donate but are unable to come on Sunday.

Covid-19 arrangements

Even though legal controls have been lifted we will continue with some special arrangements, because we want everyone to feel comfortable and safe.

In view of the high level of Covid infections that persist in this area we ask the congregation to practise social distancing where possible. We ask for face coverings to be worn while you are inside and moving around within close proximity of other people and especially when singing. We believe that this measure is an important step in safeguarding everyone. Please come suitably equipped!
